Products Finishing Magazine recognizes the efforts of Reliable Plating Works, Inc, Elite Finishing LLC and their team of dedicated volunteers working to help St Joseph Academy.
St Joseph Academy is a school and daycare on Milwaukee’s south side. Most students come from low-income families that want a good faith-based education for their children. SJA does a terrific job with schoolwork and an even better job of teaching the children how to be loving, caring, and helpful human beings. RPW President Jaime Maliszewski has chaired the Golf Outing for the past 15 years, and Cory Savage of Savage Solutions has been his co-chair for the past two years. Jaime and Cory, with a group of dedicated committee members, worked hard to make this event a success. 132 golfers, along with numerous sponsors, showed tremendous charity to the school. Donations helped raise over $45,000, which will be used to fund a major building expansion at SJA! RPW and Elite had four teams at the event, and many of our customers and suppliers played as well. To all of our friends that came to the event and helped children in need: thank you!

Little John left a mark on this planet that went worldwide. His fifty years in this industry were not forgotten when he passed July 1st of this year, but will live on. A great article in Products Finishing, an international trade magazine, remembers the man who not only affected the industry he worked in for fifty years, but his family and community as well. The article really captures John Przybylinski, the man, and what he meant to everyone that he touched. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
It’s with heavy hearts that we pass along the news that John “Little John” Przybylinski passed away suddenly yesterday afternoon.
He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of everyone that got to know and love him. He was the definition of a family man and our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Sandy, daughters Lisa and Laura, son Johnny and his six adorable grandchildren. Nothing brought a smile to his face more than the chance to talk about his family.
He will be missed dearly but as he looks upon us from the heavens above, he would prefer for us to not be sad and rather remember all the happy times we spent with him.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 7th at Max Sass Funeral Home in Franklin from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. with the service being held at 5:00 p.m.

Join the RPW and Elite family in sending many thoughts and prayers to John’s family and pray for them to find peace in these difficult times.
Greg Radaj, a long time customer of RPW, has retired from Master Lock Company. Greg has always been a great customer to work with as he worked with his suppliers to get the best for his company while being fair and moral. RPW presented Greg with a Master Lock cake which imitated the gun shot advertisement they are so well known for. It was designed and baked by RPW’s very own Gilbert Maliszewski. Greg, you will be missed! We wish happiness in your retirement and are all very jealous that you will be enjoying yourself so richly. You deserve this after you years of hard work and dedication.
Over 50 past and current customers and suppliers, as well as, family and friends showed up at Tuckaway CC to surprise John with a luncheon and roast. Jeff Maliszewski let John know that many of his co-workers really wanted to come to the party as well, but when they heard it was NOT a retirement party they all lost interest. John’s wife Sandy was there along with his son and daughters that came in from out of town with their families. There was a lot of talk about old times and many embarrassing and fun stories. It all built to a gift presentation for his loyalty. John was taken to the window and when he looked down there was a sign saying “Thank you for 50 Years!” next to a shiny new Cadillac SRX. This caused John to be speechless, which for those that know John, you know this was an absolute miracle in itself. Thanks again John, you deserve this and we hope you enjoy it with your great family.
RPW and Elite both love to get feedback from their customers, either good or bad, so that they can continually improve their service. Thank you Vollrath for this feedback we are so glad that we have been able to work with your company and develop a plan and process that meets your needs 100% in both quality and delivery. This is a great honor and the RPW family of workers takes pride in doing this for you.
John Maliszewski started to work with the Felician Sisters over 40 years ago. He helped start a fundraising golf outing in 1980 at Rivermoor CC. This event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the sisters’ programs. In 1998 Jaime Maliszewski took over as Chairman of the golf outing and the proceeds all go to the Sisters’ Christian School, St. Joseph Academy. This high end outing is held at Tuckaway CC, the past home to the Greater Milwaukee Open, and includes lunch, gifts for all who attend, golf, carts, happy hour and an excellent dinner. The night is capped with raffle prizes and an auction that generates great income for the school. This is the favorite charity of RPW/Elite and they thank all the suppliers and friends that have helped with donations, sponsorships and attendance. Thanks to all! The kids, their parents, teachers and all of the RPW/Elite Family thank you!

Elite now has the ability to put on very thick Electroless Nickel finishes. They have also added a large oven that can harden parts to a 60 Rockwell finish. This finish is greatly sought after in the large Gas and Oil industry that is ever growing and will always be necessary for this country. Thicknesses of 3, or even 4 mil are attainable at Elite. This new industry opens a new opportunity for Elite and their Customers to explore. If you would like to know more about this please feel free to contact Don Schmerling at 414-397-0868 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
